Joint operation to combat illegal imports
In November, Anvisa (the National Health Surveillance Agency) and the Federal Revenue Service carried out a joint operation to inspect accompanied luggage on the International Friendship Bridge, on the border between Brazil and Paraguay in Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
The aim of the operation was to combat the illegal import of products subject to health surveillance during Black Friday in the neighboring country. Read more here
