Cultivation of Marijuana for Medicinal Purposes

A recent bill in the state of São Paulo’s legislature proposes the creation of a statewide program for the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes in the state. The planting, the cultivation and the manufacture of the medicine are done in a controlled manner, with the Secretary of State for Health and the Public University Commission at the forefront.
