Viminol is now a controlled substance

Anvisa has added the opioid painkiller Viminol to the list of narcotic substances, changing the rules for prescribing and selling Zambon Laboratórios’ Dividol@. Companies have 30 days to adjust.

As of this January, the drug requires Prescription Notification A (yellow) and must be kept in a restricted and locked place. Read more here
